As of June 2006, AZ Persian and Himalayan Rescue has merged with AJ's Best Friends Rescue.  Uniting our forces will better serve our Persians and Himalayans throughout the state. 

Welcome to the website for the AZ Persian & Himalayan Rescue. Here you will find details of our activities, contacts, cats for adoption (and some success stories of those already adopted) and other information.

AZ Persian & Himalayan Rescue is a no-kill animal rescue and adoption organization, with 501(C)3 tax exemption, so donations are tax-deductible. As a small organization, all donations are important to us to allow us to give the care and veterinary treatment that so many of the rescued animals need. We run a foster home program, and do not have a sanctuary where all the cats can be viewed. Please browse through the pictures and information on this website, and contact us if you have any questions, or would like to adopt.
